Reconstruction • visualisation • animation

In archaeology, the interest of the public has always played a major role. Thus, results are made available to the public in journals, museums, TV and other media. This often includes "bringing archaeological content to life" for the interested layperson or, for example, visualization in a specialist publication. Archaeology is a very visual science and this is exactly what we are building on.

3D visualizations can offer an open and explorative access to archaeological sites and finds and bring them back to life in a graphically appealing way. For your exhibition and mediation activities we offer the creation of graphics or animations!

Both our technical and archaeological competences work to our advantage. We include the most recent scientific findings in our work, in order to create the most realistic reconstructions.

We offer solutions in the area of 3D visualisation

Due to newer methods and technologies, prehistoric anthropology is undergoing a turnaround, dusting off and arriving in the 21st century.

With the latest imaging techniques, it is possible to visualize prehistoric objects using SfM models (structure from motion). New insights can be gained and visualization possibilities for museums developed. Anthropology is thus moving out of its shadowy existence and into the consciousness of media presence. For exhibition conceptions, small permanent exhibitions or special exhibitions (in city halls, museums and elsewhere) we can gladly create 3D models e.g. of a burial chamber, a stone slab tomb of an Alamanni or skull models with special features such as fractures, traumas or pathologies. These show in an impressive way an individual with all his infirmities and health problems, a so-called visualized skeletal biography of an individual is created, who sometimes lived several thousand years ago. Through 3D visualization, the individual does not have to be exhibited analogue, which can sometimes be problematic for ethical reasons. Either 3D models are possible as photographic stills or short films for museum presentations or lectures (suitable for press reports etc.). Contact us and get more details and possibilities.
